SISTERHOOD

Sisterhood is an integral part of our organization! We believe that sisterhood is what brings us together and transforms strangers to our future bridesmaids and emergency contacts.

Every semester our Secretary is responsible for hosting a “Ladies Night” to bring the organization together in the midst of a bustling semester. Some recent “Ladies Night” activities include a pool day hosted at Hotel Emma, teddy bear making and a boat night on Lady Bird Lake. A fun tradition we have in the Spring semester is “Destination Unknown” put together by our Vice President. Some surprising activities have included mini golf and goat yoga!

Texas Darlins also has Big Littles, where an active member gets paired up with a new member to grow their “Darlins Family”. Big Little is so memorable and really is a way to make members closer and feel seen in the organization.

Although extravagant and planned out events get us excited, sisterhood is really all about the spontaneous moments of heartfelt laughter that reminds us how deeply our members care and love each other.

To me sisterhood in Darlins means
making the most beautiful memories with such genuine girls. Whether it’s small things like grabbing dinner before
meeting or getting dressed up for Ladies Night, Darlins has given me my home away from home!
